🥄Ingredients:
125 g butter
150 g sugar
20 g sifted cocoa powder
Milk 100 ml
25 g dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
2 eggs
100 g flour
1&1/4 tsp baking powder
Salt 1/8 tsp
✅️How to prepare:
Turn on the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Pour the butter into a saucepan and place over low heat until melted but not boiling. Add the sugar and cocoa powder and stir with a hand mixer. Add the milk and mix and let the milk boil, then turn off the heat. Separate the egg yolks and whites and pour them into two separate containers. The container for the whites should be completely clean and free of any moisture or fat, and be careful not to let the yolks get into the whites.
Remove 1/2 cup of the chocolate mixture and add the chocolate chips to it. The heat of the milk and butter mixture will melt the chocolate. Set this mixture aside.
Add the yolks one by one to the remaining chocolate mixture and mix well with a hand mixer.
Beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until they are foamy and form a stiff peak, and if you tip the bowl over, do not spill the mixture. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt and sift.
Add the flour to the chocolate and egg mixture in two stages and mix with a hand mixer until smooth. Finally, add the beaten egg whites in three stages and mix with a whisk from bottom to top in a circular motion until the ingredients are smooth. Divide the cake batter into two pans and place in the hot oven, middle rack, and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Test with a wooden skewer to make sure the cake is cooked. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them fall from the heat, then remove from the pan and transfer to a metal window to cool. After cooling, pour the chocolate sauce you had set aside over the cakes and sprinkle some chopped almonds or pistachio powder on the cake for decoration.
