At the start of November, African Communities Together, Adhikaar, and UndocuBlack Network brought 40 TPS and DED holders and families from Nepal, Haiti, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Guinea and Sudan from across the country to Washington, D.C. These members participated in two days of training and advocacy, learned from one another and strategized on how to build the movement for #TPS and permanent residency into 2020. Members engaged about 20 different Senators’ offices in D.C. as well, and encouraged them to co-sponsor the SECURE Act, to ensure permanent residency for all TPS and DED holders.
The need for #BeyondTemporary solutions for #TPS & #DED is urgent, now more than ever. Make sure to call your Senator today to make sure they have co-sponsored the SECURE Act!
