About Total Blackout Roller Blinds...
With a standard blackout roller blind you will find that although the blind may fit beautifully snug within your window recess, you have a gap of a few cm each side of the fabric where the light creeps through. With a normal blackout roller blind this is unavoidable as the brackets & mechanism take up approximately 3.5cm. If you wish to have complete blackout in your room don't fret, we've got the solution for you.
A Total Blackout Roller Blind has side channels which fix to the sides of your recess & conceal the gap between the fabric & recess walls as well as a backing to the top cassette. This prevents light leaking into the room around the edges of the fabric on each side & also over the top of the roller tube to provide a truly total blackout blind.
