Q&A
exchange with Walter Porter about his relationship with Dan Katzeek, last know Klukwan chief, passed away in 1971. When asked about carving wood, Katzeek said, “Young man, if we had plastic back in the day, we’d be using plastic.” Porter says Katzeek would have approved of the use of glass.
