Описание: Commonly known as Aunty Saara and originally from Holland, she has been supporting Rakahinonga (Entrepreneurs) Maori for the past 5 years through a range of programs around the country, from the Pakihi online business program and Waikato-based Startup Wananga to the Kokiri Business Accelerator. Her passion for supporting the empowerment of Maori entrepreneurs comes from her desire to create positive stories for her 4 tamariki (who whakapapa to Tainui Waka from Ngati Mahanga), inspiring them to aspire.

She supports Maori entrepreneurs and facilitators to create inclusive, digestible, fit-for-purpose kaupapa Maori programs that work to truly translate learning into action. She is driven to continue increasing both the number of Maori who try their hand at business, the connectivity between those businesses, and the level of success those Rakahinonga Maori are able to achieve.

She also works with PledgeMe, the crowdfunding platform, where they help people fund the things Kiwis care about. She loves the democracy of this method of capital raising and the way that a campaign relies on the community support for an idea, rather than a singular banker or investor's approval. She is passionate about the impact-driven missions that have, and will be enabled through crowdfunding and the added diversity of businesses and projects that are brought to life through the power of community.
