Yemen conflict: 40 killed in heavy clashes near Hodeidah

Описание: Clashes between troops backed by a Saudi-led coalition and the Houthis intensified near Yemen's Hodeidah over the weekend. Seven Yemeni and 33 Houthi soldiers were killed. Saudi-led coalition warplanes and ships also launched strikes targeting the Houthis. Hodeidah Port on the Red Sea is a lifeline for eight million Yemenis, handling most of the country's commercial imports and humanitarian supplies. The United Nations has warned that any operation there would disrupt aid into the war-torn nation.
