Описание: حضرت عزرائیل علیہ السلام اور شیطان کا واقعہ ایک ایسا سبق آموز بیان ہے جو انسان کو تکبر کے انجام اور موت کی اٹل حقیقت یاد دلاتا ہے۔ جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کو پیدا فرمایا تو تمام فرشتوں کو سجدہ کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا، لیکن ابلیس نے غرور اور تکبر کی وجہ سے انکار کر دیا۔ یہی تکبر اس کی ہمیشہ کی رسوائی کا سبب بنا۔
روایات میں بیان کیا جاتا ہے کہ ایک وقت ایسا بھی آیا جب ابلیس نے حضرت عزرائیل علیہ السلام سے سوال کیا کہ کیا تم میری روح بھی قبض کرو گے؟ حضرت عزرائیلؑ نے جواب دیا کہ میں صرف اللہ کے حکم کا تابع ہوں، جس کے بارے میں حکم ملے گا، اس کی روح قبض کر لوں گا۔ یہ سن کر شیطان کو اپنی بے بسی کا احساس ہوا، کیونکہ وہ جان گیا کہ ایک دن اس کی مہلت بھی ختم ہو جائے گی۔
یہ واقعہ ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ: موت سے کوئی نہیں بچ سکتا۔ اللہ کے حکم کے سامنے سب عاجز ہیں۔ تکبر شیطان کی صفت ہے اور یہی صفت انسان کو تباہی کی طرف لے جاتی ہے۔
یہ ایمان افروز بیان ہمیں اپنی زندگی کا جائزہ لینے، غرور چھوڑنے اور اللہ کی اطاعت اختیار کرنے کی دعوت دیتا ہے۔ کیونکہ جس رب کے حکم سے زندگی ملی ہے، اسی کے حکم سے ایک دن واپس لوٹنا بھی ہے۔

The story of Azrael (peace be upon him) and Satan is a lesson-filled account that reminds humanity of the consequences of arrogance and the undeniable reality of death. When Allah created Adam (peace be upon him), He commanded all the angels to prostrate before him. All obeyed—except Iblis, who refused out of pride and arrogance. That very arrogance became the cause of his eternal disgrace.
According to traditional narrations, there came a time when Iblis asked Azrael (peace be upon him), “Will you also take my soul?”
Azrael replied that he is only a servant of Allah and carries out whatever command he is given; whoever Allah commands him to take, he will take their soul. Upon hearing this, Satan realized his helplessness, knowing that even his granted respite would one day come to an end.
This account reminds us that:
No one can escape death.
All are powerless before the command of Allah.
Arrogance is the trait of Satan, and it leads humanity toward destruction.
