This film is inspired by my long-term experience of living with mental illness. In this personal work, Self Portrait, I seek to visualise the mental states I encounter in my everyday life, inviting viewers into this psychological space as a glimpse into the inner world of someone living with mental illness, and as an attempt to challenge and destigmatise common perceptions surrounding it. This film is dedicated to all those who live with mental health struggles.
