anyway, while i am in the spotlight, little rant: those of you who think "vecna deserved better" are wrong. vecna wasn't manipulated or flayed; no black particles came out of his mouth upon his death, demonstrating he was not flayed, and he himself said he chose to follow the mind flayer because he agreed with it. you people confuse the terms "raising" and "grooming"; while they're similar in the sense that they both involve a parent or mentor passing teachings onto a child, people forget that there is a point when a child stops being a child, and it is at this point when we reach a more critical or "rebellious" phase in which we question the teachings of our elders. whether we follow the teachings of our parents is a choice, and therefore everyone reaches a point at which you can only blame the person for continuing on a path that is wrong, you do not blame their sob backstory. this is basic ethics and it's pitiful that so many don't understand these fundamental concepts.

thank you for coming to my ted talk, i have many many more rants about this series' final season for its utter mediocrity.
