I first found out about the 12 cast ons of 2026 from my dear friend Alice ‪@soxynanaalice‬ and when I saw her doing it, I knew I had to do it also. 12 wips at a time is nothing for me. I followed the link she had to the instructions on how to do it and like a lemming I dove in head first.

This brings me to Angela ‪@YarnNYarns‬ who came up with this fantastic idea. Ange has been doing this for a couple of years now and she is brilliant. She admits that she doesn't always complete them all and it's okay if you don't. It's a no pressure cast on for these projects. The video that explains the a-long can be found here:

I picked my projects from all the kits I had. Actually I think all but 2 or 3 are kits. I've been meaning to start them and I just never did, this was the perfect opportunity to start them. Woo Hoo and I'm off and so far just hooking as I haven't picked a knitting kit yet.
