An oil tanker caught fire off the coast of Yemen after a missile strike claimed by the Houthis. UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported an incident 60 nautical miles south-east of Aden on Jan. 26.
The Yemeni armed forces claimed to have targeted the Marlin Luanda, which they described as a British oil tanker, in the Gulf of Aden. The Houthis said the attacks was "in vindication of the oppressed Palestinian people” and vowed to “continue their operations in the Red Sea.”
