Did you know you can make a mask with frisket film and get great sharp results while protecting the rest of your artwork? Masking an area of your canvas can be tedious work especially if you are using masking tape. Frisket film is much easier to work with and give you the control you need to get the results you want. In this video I show you how I used it with a pouring medium. I didn't think it would work but it did. I usually use frisket to protect a part of the canvas that I think might get ruined while I spray or spritz paint on an adjacent area. But it also works with shapes you cut by hand.

Use Original Frisket Film to create your own stencils or protect your work from excessive handling. The low-tack, soft-peel, self-adhesive masking film can be used with most mediums, including photographs, illustration board, Claybord, watercolor and drawing paper, canvas, glass, plastic, metal, and glazed ceramic surfaces. The film has a translucent backing sheet for trouble-free handling and can easily be removed or repositioned. It won’t wrinkle, bleed, or flutter under airbrush spray.
