I will explain the controls, the UI, the mechanics, how to fight, upgrade, combo, shop, plan, and do the maths. I detail my thought process, sharing tips and tricks along the way but I spoil nothing about the game or the story. I don't force a particular path or tell you to min/max, but rather help by providing the fundamentals so you can enjoy Balatro at your own pace. If you are thinking of buying the game and want to see early gameplay, or have purchased it but would like some pointers on the basics, this is the guide for you! In this video, I start a fresh account with nothing unlocked and play through a complete game to show you a full run!

This series goes beyond the basics and full run victory with the red deck to first looks at the other decks we unlock. I show show both successful runs and crushing defeats as I continue to learn the game, so we can learn together. I learn more from a loss than a win and there are so many jokers, blinds, and interactions that the only way to learn is by seeing them in action!
