In this song John McVie plays the first eight notes on the 1, 2, 3 and 4 beat staccato (marked with a dot in the transcription).

I find it very tastefull that he plays the eights on the third and fourth note on the D chords legato. He does this together with the piano which is also legato played on the D and C# note of the bass. This makes it very ‘smooth’.

The song is played with a tripled feel.

There's a mistake in the transcription in bar 4 of the 4th chorus. I play an F#, in the ascending triplet over A. In the transcription I've written an G#. Sorry, but that should be an F#. Thanks to Jack Taylor who mentioned this to me!

Don’t stop is written by Christine MvcVie and sung by Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie. She wrote this song after her divorce from her husband John McVIe, After a marriage of eight years, this was her feeling. The song has been covered by several bands, amongst Elton John and Status Quo. In 1992 the song was used by Bill Clinton in his campagne for president.
