Isuzu D-MAX has just received its second facelift since being launched in 2019, this time a more major change with a new look and the impressive 'Rough Terrain Mode' which cleverly provides power to whichever wheel needs it most through tough conditions.

In this video I was lucky enough to check out the full 2025 Isuzu D-MAX range & even take it PROPERLY off-roading! This is where the truck excelled and felt confident and comfortable to tackle the roughest, slippiest, steepest terrain. On the road the vehicle was less refined and had a more disconnected, floaty feeling that you often get on large traditional SUVs or pickups.

'Ultility' models, 'DL20', 'DL40' & V-CROSS models are all available. The same 1.9 turbo-charged 4 cylinder diesel engine remains, available across the range with a 6-speed manual transmission or the 6-speed automatic.

The D-MAX wasn't afraid of the getting stuck in the mud, even on standard road tyres, it was impressively capable, only helped by the new 'Rough Terrain Mode'

Inside, Isuzu have focussed on safety features, to maintain its 5 star EURONCAP safety rating. Also, new 8 & 9" infotainment systems have been introduced featuring wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto as standard + a rear camera.

With a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes and a bed payload of just under 1,000KG, the Isuzu is equipped to tow caravans, horse boxes & can carry heavy equipment in the bed. MountainTop roller cover & Truckman hard tops are available options on the D-MAX.
