In today’s customization project, I bring to life an ancient Scandinavian myth — the Askafroa, the mysterious wife of the ash tree.
As always, I used secondhand dolls, thrifted materials, and homemade baking soda paste, wire, and thrifted branches to sculpt and paint this one-of-a-kind OOAK doll. The base, leaves, and structure all come from recycled or repurposed finds.
