In this Ashtapadi Radha tells Krishna

Oh Yadu Nandan!

Put with your hands which are cooler than the sandal paste, design of leaves and flowers upon my bosom.

The dark collyrium is my eyes, smeared by your kisses would put the bees to shame.

Oh Yadu Nandan, fix the flowers in my hair loosened by love play and put both the jewelled girdle on my hips.

Radha thus wants back her identity of being able to continue her emotion of love and go on in to the cycle of Union and Re-Union.

Dance in Solitude... beyond the stage series   is my effort to make an archival memory of my time spent in lockdown on learning,  revising,  polishing and also teaching few of the old and new choreographies by Masters. Time has been a gift in this lockdown and my way of making the most of it is by working on every aspect of these choreographies once again. I am very happy to share this series of Dance in Solitude.... beyond stage, with all you art lovers and connoisseurs.
