Meet Speto, A key figure in Brazil’s street art scene since the '90s, Speto is well known for merging street art with folklore. The self-taught muralist draws deeply from his Afro-Indigenous heritage and is inspired by cordel literature. His work combines tradition and innovation, using bold lines and ancestral symbols that characterize a practice grounded in history and heritage.
Created on site, Speto’s new artwork is on view in our Main Hall as part of Brazilian Soul: STRAAT x NALATA.
