She considered different options, among which, an MBA. But what she really needed was time and space to explore. So she came up with the idea to do an MLA instead of an MBA - MLA meaning Master in Life Adventures. This led her to travel the world, developing different competencies and exploring passions and talents. This was not travel for travel’s sake, but a structured approach to personal development, designed to her needs, learning what she wanted, where she wanted. In this eye-opening talk, Catarina shares the MLA model for personal development, which uses the world as a classroom. She invites each and everyone of us to challenge ourselves to look inwards and go beyond our borders!
Catarina worked for six years in a multinational company to quit and travel the world while developing competencies and exploring her passions and talents, a personal development program she called MLA - Master in Life Adventures. Today, Catarina calls herself a Talent Strategist, working with people to help them find, explore and leverage their talents, so they can live purposefully and be happy, every day.
