SOP and MOP Fertilizers Comparison:
Both Sulphate of Potash SOP and Murate of Potash MOP are potash fertilizers. MOP is Potassium chloride Kcl 60% Potash and SOP is Potassium Sulphate 50% Potash. MOP is cost effective whereas SOP fertilizer is costly as processing in factories is involved during its manufacturing. SOP also contains 18% Sulphur which can reduce pH of soils and speed up the uptake of nutrients by making acidic environment in rootzone of crop plants.
