Over 100 Digital Architects across 21 teams were introduced to reinforcement learning, a form of machine learning, through workshops and were taught to develop and train reinforcement models on the AWS DeepRacer console to drive autonomous racing cars.
After weeks of iteration, 15 teams with the fastest virtual time qualified for the grand finale, where they raced their models on a physical racetrack. The winning team, Clock Coders, emerged with a time of 12.47s/lap, consisting of Janice, Cornelius, Suhaila, and Charlie.
