S Orbital Overdrive: Dynamic Dirty Boost | Orbital Overdrives Guitar Pedals

Описание: The S Orbital Overdrive is a dirty boost designed to add thickness and character to your sound. You'll get compression at the top of each note to make your amp feel like its at the edge of breakup. Based off of how its adjusted, you can get "Steel String" style sounds or get a reedy tweed Fender deluxe style sound. Its very sensitive to pick attack and works very well when rolling the volume!

Amplitude: Volume, or output, of the pedal. Affects the treble and presence as well. If you want a brighter sound then try maxing out the Amplitude and adjusting the sensitivity to taste

Sensitivity: Adjusts the input gain of the circuit so that your particular guitar's pickups can be optimized for the most dynamic range out of the pedal. Turn Counter-Clockwise for low output pickups and clockwise for high output pickups. The Sensitivity control can also be thought of as either a reverse "Fatness" control or a reverse gain control. Its very unique! The thickest tone can be heard when turned left. The pedal is most "Transparent" when the sensitivity is turned to the right.

*Modes* (This two Knob version has internal clipping switch)

Hard Clipping Switch:
1s - no clipping added to circuit
2s - silicon clipping (less gain)
3s - germanium clipping (more gain)
Slight volume reduction when mode is at 2s and 3s which will need to be compensated by turning up the amplitude knob

Headroom (Featured on larger enclosure S orbital overdrive units

High - boosted supply voltage. Retains original high end and works best with sensitivity rolled up for cleaner boost tones
Med - 9v supply voltage. Sound is in between high and low with the clipping still being aggressive, but not as "rowdy."
Low - Shelves supply voltage to the circuit, choking it out and creating a tonal monster! With the sensitivity down you can get reedy and unique tones reminescent of vintage gear from the 50's!
