In the recent developments concerning the West Bengal coal scam case, the Central Bureau of Investigation has raided the residences of TMC Minister Moloy Ghatak, based in Kolkata and Asansol. Meanwhile, the TMC workers protested against the raids conducted by the central investigation agency and took to the streets to demonstrate their resentment. While the CBI has not released any official statements as far as the recoveries are concerned, reports suggest that Mr. Ghatak was questioned for over seven hours on Wednesday, September 7.
