Описание: Child homelessness is a major issue in the Philippines. After 2 years of living in the country, we finally arrived in Manila. We really like the city for so many reasons but witnessing the extreme poverty there was eye-opening. There are roughly 1.5 million street children living in the Philippines and a huge portion of them are in Manila.

For our last day in the country, we decided to give what little we could back to the homeless children of Manila and handed out some food. Not much in the way of creating real change but we felt obligated to do something. I turned this into a vlog concept as bringing awareness to this issue can do much more than the handful of burgers that we handed out.

I got in touch with an NGO: http://www.humanility.org/ while editing this video and asked to link them. They work with street/homeless kids in the Philippines and offer true opportunity and change to the lives of children who can be so easily forgotten. If you are in a position to do so, you can donate to their organization to sponsor a child, empower a family, or offer a one-time donation - ANYTHING HELPS.
