This RA film, produced by Rosa herself and Leo Olofsson, offers an intimate look at the Mexico City-based, Colombian-born artist’s career.

Her reggaetón story begins as early as her adolescent years spent in Colombia, before her ascent to prolific producer, La Checkera Rec label owner and globally-touring DJ.

In 35 minutes we delve deeper into the intricacies of the reggaetón scene in Mexico City—spotlighting a sound that is distinctive from its Puerto Rican or Colombian counterparts. Featuring insights from major players in Mexican reggaetón such as Big Metra, Pablito Mix DJ Krizis and Alu Mix, it’s an essential, hyper-localised exploration of the music’s global appeal.
