My plan was for me remove every bit of resistance that I possibly could before attempting to remove the stuck lockdown bar. The lever was already broken internally like they seem to do. 1. I use harbor freight fine finish cut pull saw (incorrectly call it a coping saw in the video) to dig out the beer seal. 2. I turned the machine upside down and sprayed PB blaster penetrating oil. Let it set for several hours. 3. I tapped it with a rubber mallet for several minutes from various angles (I didn’t discuss this in the video ) 4. Inserted the flathead screwdriver at the specific angle as seen in the video. 
That gets it open so repair can be done.
