Stress management is a dimension of well-being that is uniquely interconnected with all the others. When dimensions like sleep, nutrition, movement, and social connection are supported, stress levels often decrease as a result.
That said, there are times—due to work demands, financial pressures, or life circumstances—when the source of stress can’t be removed. In these moments, learning how to cope and regulate stress becomes essential.
A report from the American Psychological Association highlights societal division and loneliness as significant contributors to stress in the United States. While this may not be surprising, it can serve as an important reminder that connection with others is a powerful buffer against stress.
