In this video, Fouled Prop in Frigid Waters, we arrive in Portland Maine and say goodbye to Bob our crewmember. After one failed attempt at leaving port due to extreme waves we pick up supplies, then try again making for Cape Cod. On the way we have some trouble with our engine and have to rely purely on our sailing to get us though to the next port which is Marblehead Boston. In Marblehead we dive into fridgid water to clear our fouled prop and ride out yet another North Atlantic storm!

In August of 2017 I sold everything and moved aboard Balachandra, a 1986 C&C44 sailboat, then sailed it over 300 nautical miles to Halifax Nova Scotia to spend a cold Canadian winter in the frozen waters of the North Atlantic.
