In this video I review my 2023 Kona Sutra with a flat bar conversion.
The GRX 2x10 works with Tiagra 2x10 shifters
The TRP Hy/Rd mechanically actuated hydraulic disk brakes work with AVID speed dial 7 levers.
I already have a lighter drop bar gravel bike and found that I wasn't riding the Sutra all that much because of its weight and comfort. I find the ride quality on my cannondale Topstone to be vastly more plush than the steel framed sutra. This might have to do with tire choice although I've swapped the wheel set and while this helped, I still enjoyed the ride comfort of the cannondale.
As a flat bar bike, and with 45c WTB riddler tires, the sutra is much more comfortable and is still versatile as a touring bike/grocery getting, and daily commuter.
