We visited and toured one of the biggest rice mills in South-East Nigeria, located in Nnobi, Idemili South LGA of Anambra State. As we continue to tell our stories, our journey took us to Nobi, where High Chief Emeka Agbanari (Ike Nnobi), the CEO of Seaman Group of Companies, is making history.
This billionaire businessman truly believes in “Aku ruo ulo”bringing wealth back home. He established the largest rice mill right in his village, creating employment for hundreds of youths from his hometown and beyond. The company produces tons of rice daily and is widely known for producing one of the best rice brands in Nigeria.
During our visit, the company’s manager took us through the entire production process from raw paddy to the finished, packaged product. What we saw was shocking and inspiring at the same time. This is more than empowerment; it is a strong contribution to nation building, helping the government reduce unemployment and boost local production.
