Welcome! If you're here with me it's because we've both experienced how worry can lead to overthinking and fear. Today we're going to explore how fear and worry can be one of our teachers. We often believe if we can control the outcome, we will be safe. We believe if we can anticipate the possibilities, we will be ready for anything and can never be hurt...but you don't have to.
While worry is the nervous system attempt to keep us safe, we can overcome it by getting to the root of the issue; by shifting the narrative we keep repeating and believing. We do this by bringing our nervous system back into balance with breath. We do this by confronting our narrative with one small truth at a time. Feel free to use these words as we go within: I have faith in myself and in my abilities...Think of facts that make this statement truth either big or small. Confront your narrative and nervous system with this truth: I have faith in myself because....I have faith in my abilities because...
