Описание: 📌 Clarification on the Term "Primary Verb"
In this video, I used the term "primary verb" to refer to the main action verb in a sentence — for example, in "I write a letter," the verb "write" is the main action, so I called it a primary verb for simplicity and easy understanding.

🧠 However, here’s an important clarification based on different grammar approaches:

First Approach of use: In general usage or beginner-friendly grammar books, the term "primary verb" is sometimes used to mean the main verb or action word of a sentence — like write, go, run, eat, etc.

Second Approach of use: But in formal/traditional English grammar (especially in school-level British or Indian grammar books), the term "primary verbs" is used specifically for three special verbs like To Be (am, is, are, was, were, be, been, being), To Have (have, has, had) and To Do (do, does, did). These verbs are called primary because they can be used as both Main verbs (I am a student.) and Helping verbs (I am writing.).

📝 So, both approaches of uses are correct — they just come from different grammar traditions:
If you're learning through practical or simplified grammar, "write" may be called a primary verb, meaning the main action verb.
But if you're learning formal grammar, then "write" is not a primary verb — it's a main verb or lexical verb.
✅ I hope this clears up the confusion and helps you learn better!

So now taking about this video, In this short and simple English grammar lesson, we will understand how helping verbs like “am,” “is,” “are,” “was,” and “were” are sometimes just supporting the main action, and sometimes they are the main verb themselves!

✅ Example 1:
“I am singing a song.”
➡️ Here, “am” is just a helping verb. It supports the main verb “singing.”

✅ Example 2:
“I am a singer.”
➡️ Now, “am” is the main verb. It shows identity or existence.

🎯 You will learn:
• What is a helping verb?
• What is a main verb?
• When “to be” verbs like is, are, was, were act as main verbs
• Easy examples for better understanding
• Spoken English grammar for beginners
