In this video, we explore Inch Abbey which can be found in Downpatrick, County Down in Northern Ireland.
The Abbey is located on the north bank of the Quoile River and was founded by John de Courcy in atonement for his destruction of Erenagah Abbey. The buildings are mainly from the 12th and 13th centuries while it is believed the church is older than that at Grey Abbey which was built about 1193.

Downpatrick town is located approximately 20 miles south of Belfast city in County Down, Northern Ireland so it would be close for the tourists or visitors who would be exploring Belfast would only have to travel a short distance.
