During our first visit to Indonesia, we flew into Jakarta from Ho Chi Minh City and stayed at Mercure Jakarta Sabang, a centrally located hotel that works particularly well for families travelling with teenagers.
We stayed in the Games Centre Suite, one of the hotel’s themed rooms designed to encourage shared time and relaxed evenings together. With playful, nostalgic design inspired by classic 1990s games, it’s a concept that appeals to both parents and teens.
The hotel’s location near Jalan Thamrin makes it easy to explore Jakarta’s main attractions, while thoughtful extras – including a walking tour arranged with Wisata Kreatif Jakarta – added valuable local insight to our stay.
