Krishn is playing 'holi' with Radhey Rani
(Radhey Sang, Shyam Khelain Hori)
This side there are uncountable Gopis with Shree Radhey, and, on the other side, Krishn has called for His uncountable sakhas.
(It agnit sakhiyan sang Radhey, utai sakhan Shyamahu jori.)
The field of Vrindaban was chosen to be the place for holi combat where the crowd from both sides came and forced into each other.
(Phag-samar-angan Vrindaban, bhire dou dal jhakjhori.)
The red gulal made Krishn red all over and so were all the lanes of Braj. [The cloud of red gulal, thrown from both sides had made everything red everywhere.]
(Lalahin-lal-gulal Lal bhaye, lal, lal bhain Brajkhori.)
With huge squirts, filled with several kinds of colors, both parties were passionately and abundantly throwing colors on each other.
(Lai pichkarin mar paraspar, rang birang rang ghori.)
In the meantime, Radha picked up a jug filled with saffron color and poured it on the head of Krishn.
(Keshar rang bhari lai gagari, Nagari, Nagar sar dhori.)
And suddenly, seeing an appropriate moment, Rangdevi lavishly rubbed gulal on the cheeks of Krishn.
(Auchak avsar lakhi Rangdevi, Lalahin gal rangi rori.)
On this side, Krishn and His sakhas are defeated (with the overpowering crowd of the Gopis), and on the other side, Gopis are singing the glory of Radhey Rani and saying, “Jai ho my Radha Rani! Jai ho my Maharani!”
(Hare sakhan sang Hari it, ut, jai jaikar Lali ko ri.)
-Original Kirtan composition by Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
Led by Sushree Diwakari Devi.
