Character Unlock Text Guide (In Order of The Video)

Unlock those characters inside of the Krypt BEFORE looking for the costumes. Some characters won't allow you to get their chests for their alternate costumes before unlocking them in the Krypt.

Liu Kang - Go to location H-5 in Edenia. Meditate until Thursday night at 11 P.M & wait until Friday between 12 P.M & 1 P.M to get the chest for his alternate costume.

Ashrah - Go to H-4 in the Netherrealm for the chest to get her alternate costume.

Baraka - Open Koffin SR with 2252 Gold Koins

Bo Rai Cho - Open Koffin IB with 2086 Onyx Koins

Dairou - Go to location D-8 Chaosrealm inside a hut around 10:20P.M to find the chest for his alternate costume

Darrius - Go to location F-8 in Outworld, in the shack near the ocean/cliff near the village to find the chest for his alternate costume.

Ermac - Go to location A-8 in the Netherrealm to find the chest for his alternate costume.

Havik - Open Koffin CN with 1114 Jade Koins

Hotaru - Open Koffin QT with 1064 Ruby Koins

Jade - Go to location G-4 in Outworld to find the chest for her alternate costume.

Kabal - Go to location B-1 in Chaosrealm. Kabal will give you a mission to hide an Earthrealm map in the temple. Follow the portals to the temple to complete the mission. Return to Kabal and talk to him to get your koins. Talk to him again to fight him. Defeat him to get the Krypt Key for his alternate costume.

Kenshi - After unlocking Kenshi, go to location A-6 in Earthrealm where the village gate is. Meditate until 11 A.M to get the chest for his alternate costume.

Kira - Open Koffin SG with 990 Sapphire Koins

Kobra - Go to location H-2 to find Kobra. Defeat him to get his Krypt Key for his alternate costume

Li Mei - After unlocking Li Mei, go to location A-5 in Orderrealm. Defeat her to get her Krypt Key for her alternate costume.

Mileena - Go to location F-7 in Earthrealm. Look behind the house between 7 P.M & 9 P.M to get the chest for her alternate costume,

Nightwolf - Go to location C-5 in the Netherrealm. Nightwolf will give you a side quest to find the bear totem that was stolen by an Oni. After that, go to location D-6. Punch the oni to get the totem, and return to Nightwolf. He will give you koins. Exit the Netherrealm, and go back in. Go to location A-4. Defeat him to get the Krypt Key for his alternate costume.

Noob-Smoke - Open Koffin EJ with 1494 Platinum Koins

Raiden - After unlocking Raiden, go to location F-3 in Edenia. Defeat Raiden to get the Krypt Key for his alternate costume.

Scorpion - In the beginning of Konquest Mode, go to location B-6 to find the chest for his alternate costume.

Shujinko - Go to location F-1 in Edenia. Meditate until Tuesday at 3:00 A.M to get the chest for his alternate costume.

Sindel - After unlocking Sindel, go to location H-6 in Outworld at around 2:45 P.M to get the chest for her alternate costume

Sub-Zero - Go to the Lin Kuei temple at location F-8 behind the rock. Meditate until 7 P.M to get the chest for his alternate costume.

Tanya - After unlocking Tanya, go to location A-7 in Outworld. Talk to her, and she will give you a mission to trap Liu Kang. If you go to location H-5, you will find a map for the cave. Return to Tanya and she will give you koins. Another way is to talk to Liu Kang at location G-1 inside of the city and he will give you koins. After that, exit Outworld and return to Tanya at location C-2. Defeat her and you'll get the Krypt Key for her alternate costume.
