VERSE
I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. Psalm 140:12

EXPLANATION
Blessed be the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. When you carry God in your life and walk according to His will, justice will surely follow you. You will not be afraid because God Himself preserves your life. The Word of God clearly declares in Psalm 140:12 that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted and the right of the poor. This is not a human promise but a divine assurance from the righteous Judge of heaven.

The Bible also says, But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. Psalm 40:17. God is mindful of everyone who is poor and needy. He never forgets those who trust in Him. He becomes their help and their deliverer from all evil.

Today we see many injustices happening in families, workplaces, and society. The poor, the needy, the lonely, widows, and those without support suffer silently because of unrighteous actions. Yet the Word reminds us that even if people abandon us, the Lord will take us up. He is the God who executes justice for all who trust in Him.

The Scripture asks, Whom took he counsel with, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding? Isaiah 40:14. Our God needs no counsel. He is perfect in justice and wisdom. The Lord will judge His people and repent Himself concerning His servants. Psalm 135:14. Surely He will help at the right time.

There was once a poor man who owned a small piece of land. He had no one to help him, yet he worked faithfully. When his harvest was abundant, a rich man tried to take his land unjustly. The poor man did not fight with weapons or anger. He knelt down and prayed, trusting that only God could help him. The Lord turned the heart of the wicked man away, and the poor man lived in peace and gratitude. This same God is alive and working today.

Beloved, entrust every injustice, every silent pain, and every false accusation into the hands of the Lord through prayer. God will plead your cause. The Bible says, And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Luke 18:7. God is a just God. Blessed are all they that wait for him. Isaiah 30:18.

The Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever. Psalm 37:28. God protects His holy ones who trust Him. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17:7. He will keep you in times of trouble and prosper you even in difficult seasons. Today God’s justice comes to you in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for being a God of justice and righteousness. I thank You that You see every injustice done against me. Today I place my life, my family, and my future into Your loving hands. Judge for me in places where I cannot speak or fight. Protect me in times of trouble. Remove fear and uncertainty from my heart. Fill my life with peace, honour, and joy. I trust You completely and receive Your justice today. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
