"Blood and Thunder" from Mastodon's "Leviathan" album (2004).
Now, there's something weird going on with this song. Somebody uploaded the original bass track to Youtube which I, of course, used to transcribe this. At 1:41, the bass is actually playing a low C. Now I decided to just stay in standard D and not change to drop C for just 2 notes. It would make the main riff very difficult, but it wouldn't make any sense to have that open C. I would bet a 1000$ that the bassist either recorded this on a 5 string bass, or dropped to a C for just 2 notes. I'm a 100% sure that he played the low C there. But anyway, the rest of the song is pretty straightforward. I'm not sure why but Troy also slides to the 4th fret at 1:45. This only happens once so yeah.. there's that.
