From dawn until dusk, Fariba works tirelessly on the farm: she milks the sheep, makes yogurt and butter, and tends to the fields with care. Her daughters also help her — with their small but strong hands, they plant the seeds of life among the wheat and herbs, one by one. Uncle Reza, Fariba’s maternal uncle, is a skilled and kind man. He often comes to the farm to lend a hand — repairing fences and stable roofs, or bringing supplies from the town. His relationship with Fariba and her daughters goes beyond kinship; it is filled with affection and companionship. Having spent many years living across plains and mountains, he is always looking for ways to improve the family’s life. These days, Uncle Reza has decided to build a new structure for Fariba.
