130th Amendment Bill: JPC Begins Stakeholder Consultations | India Today News

Описание: BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi said that the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) is holding its third meeting on the 130th Amendment Bill and related bills. The committee has 31 members.
She explained that in the first meeting, members discussed the bill among themselves. In the second meeting, officials from the Law Ministry and Home Ministry shared their views. From the third meeting onward, the JPC has started consultations with stakeholders and former judges. After detailed discussions, the committee will prepare a report and submit it in the Lok Sabha.
