Prime Minister Narendra Modi boldly charged that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance grouping and the Opposition Congress were planning a plot to inflame social tensions as he began a campaign tour throughout western Maharashtra on Monday. In an effort to pacify Muslims politically, he further charged that the Opposition sought to "steal" the reservations of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other backward classes (OBCs).
