After a long wait of more then two years, Peugeot finally made their return to WEC with their new 9X8 Le Mans Hypercar at the just finished 6 Hours of Monza, the same venue where last year they unveiled the car for the first time. The first thing that you can notice from the car is the abscence of any rear wing, thanks to the quite free regulations for this new LMH class. The engine is an hybrid 2.6 V6 twin turbo engine that can develop 950 bhp.
Both cars had major problems during the weekend, basically since the start of FP1 where one of them remained stuck in the pit. Both the 93 and the 94 didn't finish the race in the first positions but being just their first official rollout it still decent, also considering their times during the practice sessions. Let's hope they'll manage to fix their problems in time for the next one, that will be in Japan at Fuji. I honestly can't wait to see some other LMH and LMDh, enjoy the video!
