This was a painting I have done about 2 years ago. I have posted it before and now I am reposting it again for those who have not watch it.
It's a painting of a belted kingfisher done with soft pastel. I once was into soft pastel and order quite a few to compare and then I settled with a brand called UNISON which I think it's quite balance in texture wise, not too brittle or too soft.
Well, I might make a comeback one day and do some painting with soft pastels again. Today it's just a "re-introduction" for you guys to know that I do paint in soft pastels too beside watercolor!
