Stay grounded in prayer, reading Gods word, and fasting regularly with a good routine. The flesh slowly wastes away. God has moved mountains for me, I was an alcoholic and a rapid drug user, he pulled me out that pit, and he can do the same for you if you seek him with all your heart.
