Hi TTO Fam.
Today we are working on a videojet dataflex 6210 printer. This customer actually sent two printers in and this is the first of the two that we worked on. The Videojet 6210 printer is a small 32mm TTO Printer that I am getting more and more requests to fix. The first thing we do is inspect this videojet 6210 printer by turning the power on. Once the power is on we find the unit has a few errors, most notably the printhead carriage position error. This error is very odd as we find out as we dig deeper into the dataflex 6210 the motor that drives the carrriage doesn't move until we uncover some subtle hints of sabotage by the customer... Just kidding but seriously the motor is unpluged. I plug that back in and test only to find out the motor drivers for the ribbon motors are bad.
