🔍 Our Control Rooms don’t just monitor the electricity network 24/7, they also keep a close watch on the weather all year round.
⛈️ Why? Because monitoring the weather helps us take action ahead of the storms which can damage our network and lead to power cuts. Knowing that bad weather is on the way means that we can get extra resources to the areas forecast to be worst affected before the weather hits. It also means that we have time to draft in extra support to answer your calls to 105, respond to your social media messages and contact our Priority Services customers.
