The 7 Essential Items You Need to Take Care of Your Clothes

Описание: If you’ve been watching my videos for a while, you’ll have learned I recommend buying fewer clothes, shopping with intention, and investing in the best you can afford.

It goes without saying that if you look after your clothes, they will serve you well season after season. In this short video, I describe 7 essential pieces of kit that I recommend everyone has to hand to maintain their wardrobe and a polished, professional look.

Here, in no particular order:

📌 Hand-held steamer - brilliant for refreshing your clothes, excellent for traveling, and easier than ironing!
📌De-bobbler - a very satisfying pastime and it brings back bobbly knitwear to good-as-new
📌Good detergent - dry cleaning is so bad for your clothes and the planet. Many things can be carefully hand washed with a good quality detergent;
📌Lint roller - don’t let a beautiful garment be spoiled with hair, fur, or lint!
📌Moth guard - if you’ve got lovely things, protect them from insect infestation;
📌Velvet hangers - hang whatever you can on slimline hangers to help keep their shape and lessen creasing;
📌Needle and thread - learn to sew on a button and tack a hem!
