Dive underwater and enjoy this amazing view of the gentoo penguins enjoying a scatter feed of sprats.
The colony at Penguins Rock, Edinburgh Zoo enjoy feeds through out the day. Primarily they are hand-fed whiting up to 3 times a day. Hand-feeding allows the keepers to ensure each penguin has enough to eat and also acts as a regular but informal health check. In addition scatter feeds of krill and sprats (featured in the video) are used as a treat and enrichment.
