Alex Kidd is a classic SEGA franchise that began in 1986 with Alex Kidd in Miracle World. The character was SEGA's mascot before Sonic, starring in several games throughout the late '80s and early '90s. The series mixed platforming with rock-paper-scissors battles. After years on hiatus, it returned in 2021 with the remake Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX. The saga is fondly remembered by retro gaming fans.
