WREXHAM Village Bakery HALF Marathon 2024: RACE Day Vlog

Описание: Here is my race day vlog from the Wrexham Village Bakery Half Marathon 2024. Informally known as 'the cat' due to its unique route outline.

It was my first time running this race, but I will definitely be back again to race this one! This year I was on pacing duty, pacing the 1hr50 HM alongside some other pacers.

I had a blast with my fellow pacers Paul and Steve. I loved encouraging the other runners and helping them hit their goals for the day, whilst enjoying the race myself and being able to take more of it in.

I decided to go for the Brooks Ghost 14 for this race, as it's my easy/recovery day shoe, and this was going to be ran at that pace. This was finally a run where I enjoyed them, hopefully that now continues.

I'm back pacing again in a few weeks, this time for RunThrough at the Oulton Park Running Festival, pacing the 50min 10k. If you are down there for that, see you on the day…..

Mission 40 training continues next week, follow along and see if I can improve my 10k time in a few weeks time.
